Our Mission: 

To provide support for charitable individuals and organizations to become meaningful donors that make a difference in our community, now and forever.

How We Make an Impact:

Founded in 1999, the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan currently manages more than 360 separate component funds and has distributed over $24 million in charitable grants and educational scholarships since the organization was established. These numbers continue to grow as more people step forward as generous participants in the vision of a stronger community. There are many ways of giving to and through the Community Foundation. Funds can be established for a variety of charitable purposes and can support one or multiple charities.

Giving Opportunities:

Please consider giving to our annual appeal Hope in Bloom to support our continued good work. This is our one and only fundraiser to support the Community Foundation’s operating budget. Starting a fund here at the Community Foundation at year-end is also a tax-friendly way to support your favorite charities.

Volunteer Opportunities:

The work of the Community Foundation is supported by a Board of Directors and several active committees made up of diverse and knowledgeable volunteers who offer their expertise in many areas, including financial, grant making, and investment activities. We thank them for their commitment to connecting people who care with causes that matter.
