“This is not a charity…We don’t want to treat hunger, we want to solve it!” —Marty Colavito, Program Coordinator
The Sullivan Fresh Community Cupboard works to increase food security, neighborhood-based leadership, hope, and connection across Sullivan County, NY.
HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
At CCE Sullivan, the Sullivan Fresh Community Cupboard Mobile Food Pantry program provides neighborhood-based food delivery, outreach, and referral services to all corners of Sullivan County, and supports agricultural economic development in the Catskills | Hudson Valley region.
Enough fresh local farm and food products, and nonperishable food items for over 500,000 meals has been delivered to more than 2,500 families since March 2020.
Monetary donations can be made at www.sullivancce.org/donate to help offset the costs of mobile food pantry fuel, packing supplies, staffing, and insurances.
