The Dutchess Land Conservancy has protected and continues to steward more than 47,000 acres of farmland, forest, and wetlands since 1985. We encourage sound, well-planned growth balanced with the conservation of our important natural resources and working landscapes to ensure healthy and vibrant communities for the benefit of all generations. We provide conservation land planning assistance, public education programs throughout the year, and many ways that people can become involved and volunteer to help the environment.
