OUR MISSION
The NECC is a nonprofit organization in Millerton, NY, that seeks to build healthy, caring, and responsive communities.
HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Those of us in Northeastern Dutchess County are living in a land of five deserts: Food, Transportation, Mental Health, Child Care, and Housing. Through our many programs and extensive outreach, the North East Community Center addresses all five of these desert issues by providing direct assistance to those in need.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Individual contributions help provide many programs and community engagement opportunities for youth and families including our Millerton Farmers Market, Teen Team, After School and Child Care programs, as well as our twice-monthly Food Pantry: neccmillerton.org/donate
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Our volunteer opportunities are available with all of our programs and services including those that work with youth and teens, transportation of people to and from appointments or to purchase food and supplies, and deliver food or supplies to those who are home-bound, as well as food and supply pantry assistance.
