Restaurateur Benny Castro, created the original Basque located in the village of Piermont NY in 2018 offering authentic cuisine from Spain featuring an array of Spanish Tapas, Unique Paellas, Sangrias and a full selection of wines from Spain. In 2022 Benny Castro opened its second Basque location in Tarrytown NY, both locations are focused on authentic cuisine from Spain, quality and a focus on hospitality. What you will discover at Basque is its focus on modern and old Spanish classics, one of the hit specialties at Basque is the Paellas, bringing a real Paella to its customers and how it should be made with authentic Valencia rice and baked to perfection offering a multi texture blend of moist, chewy and crispy caramelized rice. In 2001 Basque in Piermont received its official certification from Spain as an authentic Restaurant From Spain, Tarrytown has recently also received its official certification in 2023. Our goal is to make our customers feel at home, never rushed but instead offer great authentic Tapas and cuisine from Spain. We are a walk in restaurant reservations not required unless it is a group of 6 or more guests.
